Wedding cards can be fairly trite or characterless, but this Me&McQ design is beautifully constructed, from every angle that you view it from. Turning the card through 360 degrees, different views occur that were not apparent just viewing it head-on. From the second bridesmaid to the table with champagne flutes stacked one on the other, to the chairs for the bride and groom to sit on, there’s something to discover at every turn. There’s also a separate card with a bouquet on the back and the front to write your own personal message. This is my new go-to wedding card!
Memories of my youth come flooding back viewing this fabulously presented card. Beach huts, a lighthouse, boats, dogs splashing in the foam, deck chairs, bunting, seagulls, bucket and spade and beach ball, all combine to create a fabulous scene of fun and balmy summer days by the sea. The usual high standard of colour, laser-cut and design make this one of my favourite cards to be sending this summer! Thanks Me&McQ for whisking me back to the days when I had not a care in the world.
I love this card. Beginning with Arthur Rackham’s illustrations, I have loved the story of Peter Pan. If I had any criticism, it would be that this card should be entitled Peter Pan, or Peter Pan in London - for those who are not fully acquainted with the story. But, I refuse to downgrade my review because of such a petty, personally-conceived comment. The design and cut of the card is exquisite, as always with Me&McQ, but the additional full 360 degree viewing of the card makes it exceptional. I literally open and look at these card for ages before sending. This is going to a friend’s son, who is seven years old, and I know he is going to LOVE it!
Another glorious card from Me&McQ. This one epitomises what is unique about their designs. The colour, the cut, the quality and the subject. On top of that the card is viewable from 360 degrees, with the back of each section being coloured and complete like the front, so that you can view the card from any side and there is no loss of perspective. Any other card company leaves the rear of each section blank, presumably to save money, but by doing so loses dimension and frame of reference.
Utterly delightful!
