Mouse Caravan

I absolutely love this card and the Christmas equivalent but there is just a little problem with the steps at the end of the caravans. They do not fall into place easily and when they do the left hand side slats come away from the riser,
I had bought these last year but not sent them so when I had the Christmas version and discovered the fault I examined the everyday ones too which had the same fault. Not to be deterred but unable to send the ones already bought I tried again 28 days ago. These were slightly better and I discovered if I gently eased the steps down it was easy to close the card keeping the steps down and they just fitted into the envelope. I had particular persons in mind for this card and the first person to receive it was delighted.
Hoping to sort out the Christmas ones for next year. I know my relatives and friends will love them.
Incidentally with my Christmas order I was given 4 extra different cards which covered the 4 caravans I had hoped to send I was very grateful for that.
I suggest you leave the steps in a downward position and use a fractionally larger envelope in future It is such a beautiful card.
Also I had ordered the Mouse Fun version of the caravan which is almost as lovely and more sturdy
